"Believing God,
                The Success Behind the 2010 Boots & Bandana Auction"

Do you believe God?  Now I didn't ask, if you believed "in" God, but do you really believe that God will do what He says He will do?  Do you believe that God can use your gifts and abilities to impact the lives of others for all eternity?  Well friends, as we begin  to pray and prepare for our 11th Annual Boots and Bandana Auction, scheduled for April 24th, 2010, we will each have the opportunity to answer those questions for ourselves.  

As many of you know, the tuition costs of Grace Christian School do not fully cover the operating expenses of the school; therefore, God allows us to exercise our faith each year, as we conduct a limited number of fundraisers to offset these costs. Our goal for the 2010 auction is $60,000.  God has promised that He will meet our needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus (Php 4:19) and He has been faithful to do that each year. 

So, there's really no question as to whether God will do what He says He will do, but rather the question is, "Do you believe that He can use your  gifts and abilities to help complete the work He has called us to as a school? "  He can....the real question is, will you allow Him?  --Christi Goodman, Auction Coordinator

PRIMARY REASONS TO GET INVOLVED

• To assist Christian parents in providing a sound academic education in a Christ centered environment to their children at an affordable cost.

• To invest in the lives of young people, who will seek to impact the world for Christ, yielding a return that is both eternal and secure.

PRAY!

• For wisdom for the auction committee and leadership teams.

• How God would have you become involved in achieving our goal.

o Volunteering on a committee.

PLAN AHEAD!

• It's not too early to plan.  Many people inquire about what items would be best to donate. Now is the perfect time to invest in seasonal items, such as: trampolines, swingsets, backyard waterslides, gas grills, patio furniture, etc. These items can be purchased in the off season at a fraction of the cost they would normally be closer to the auction.  Some retailers may be willing to simply make a donation of items such as these simply to relieve their inventory.  Go to http://gcswarriors.org for a list of more ideas.

GET INVOLVED!

• God often uses ordinary people to do extraordinary works. The success of this auction in largely dependent on two things: 

1) God’s favor
2) Your belief in your involvement

Whether God leads you to participate as a volunteer, a donor or a bidder in our silent, live and/or on-line auctions, or better yet…all three…we hope you will not miss being a part of the work we "BELIEVE" God is going to do at the 2010 Boots and Bandana Auction.
