Grace Christian School's 13th Annual Boots & Bandana Auction
What a wonderful time we had at the 2012 Auction! God blessed our event with a time of great fellowship, fun and financial success! We are so very pleased to share that the gross total for the auction (online, silent, live) is $69,000! Praise God! We owe a great deal of thanks to GCS parents, staff and friends and the many businesses for the creative and generous donations to this year's auction. Thank you also for all the support of the auctions as well as for inviting others to join us, volunteering and praying for God to meet our financial needs through the auction. What a blessing to be reminded by some of our new families as well as some of our families that have been at GCS for years, how special the GCS family is and how this community pulls together to do what they can for the success of this educational ministry. Speaking of community, we would also like to say a special thank you to FlattBroke for generously providing the entertainment for the second year in a row. Thank you to our auctioneer, Ben Howell and his sons, Phillip and Matt, for blessing us once again with their auction expertise. As well as, thank you to GCS Parent, Mike Adams and Pepperidge Farm for donating the hamburger buns for dinner. Purpose of the Auction: The mission of Grace Christian School is to assist Christian parents by providing a sound academic education in a Christ-centered environment, designed to prepare our young people to know God and to live in obedience to His will for their lives. As a result of our efforts to make Christian education affordable to parents, our tuition costs do not fully cover the operating expenses of the school; therefore, the annual Boots & Bandana Auction is one of three major fundraising events which help supplement these expenses.
