Mrs. White’s and Mrs. Bochette's Preschool Class Act - "I Am Rooted, Grounded, and Growing" Quilt
This vibrant quilt is a heartfelt collaboration of our preschoolers, with each child’s hand traced in thread, to create a playful, textured pattern. Stitched in GCS’s signature navy and orange, it’s a joyful celebration of young imagination, community, and the lasting mark each little hand leaves. Each child's initials are also embroidered into each handprint. Soft, colorful, and full of personality, this quilt is both a keepsake and a symbol of togetherness in Christ and was lovingly quilted by Mrs. Bochette.

Mrs. Weston’s Pre-K Class Act - "Growing in Christ" Growth Chart
This “Rooted in Christ”-themed piece is made of maple wood and hand-painted by Audrey Van Dyke, calligraphed by Bethany Persian, and signed and stamped by each Pre-K student. Mark your child’s height each year as you watch him or her grow in Christ and become rooted in His Word.

Mrs. Johns's Kindergarten Class Act - Sunflowers
Bright, bold, and full of joyful texture, this framed masterpiece showcases student-made sunflowers. Inspired by the expressive brushstrokes and vibrant color of Vincent van Gogh, each sunflower bursts with personality—no two exactly alike, just like the young artists who created them. Mrs. Fitzgerald’s 1st-Grade Class Act - "In Full Bloom"
Each first grader painted a sheet of cardstock in his/her own special watercolor, creating a vibrant one-of-a-kind design. With the help of dedicated parent volunteers—Kasey Elmore, Melissa Russell, and Samantha Reimold—these colorful pages were carefully transformed into petals and thoughtfully arranged to form one stunning flower in full bloom. Each unique hue represents a GCS classmate, lovingly indexed with photos and signed on the back of the frame—a beautiful symbol of individuality, unity, and the special bond shared this year.

Mrs. Kahrs's 1st-Grade Class Act - Guess Who? GCS 1st-Grade Edition
Mrs. Kahrs's first graders have put their creative touch on a classic game to create a one-of-a-kind “Guess Who?” game featuring their sweet faces and some staff they see throughout the day at Grace. Complete with custom artwork designed by the class, this playful keepsake is a fun way to celebrate the people who make our school so special. This game is guaranteed to spark some laughter around the table as you try to guess which Warrior is hiding behind the card! Mrs. Musselman’s 4th-Grade Class Act - Class of 2037 Time Capsule
This thoughtfully crafted time capsule captures the reflections and personalities of our fourth graders. Filled with "All About Me" letters, self-portraits, handprints, classroom maps, newspaper clippings, and other keepsakes, it preserves a snapshot of their school year—a tangible reminder of their growth, friendships, and experiences. Sealed with care, it invites future discovery, offering a bridge between the present and the memories they will treasure for years to come. The recommended opening date is the year these kiddos graduate from GCS: 2037! We appreciate Rachel and Ethan Mahaffey's vision and invention of this class act!
